Unique and stunning, with over 30 three-thousand-metre-high mountains - these are the views you will experience on a sightseeing flight by Sennair VIP helicopter. Probably the most beautiful region of the Alps offers wonderful views:
Fly over Lake Zell and take a look at the mountains surrounding this alpine lake: Zell am See's local mountain, the Schmittenhöhe (1,965 m), is located to the west of the lake. The Hundstein, 2,117 m, rises to the sky in the east. The limestone massif of the Steinerne Meer and the Leogang Mountains can be seen in the north.
South of Zell am See, the Sennair VIP helicopter flies past the peaks of the Hohe Tauern mountains, which are over three thousand metres high. Marvel at the Kitzsteinhorn (3,203 m) with the glacier ski resort, the Hohe Tenn (3,368 m) and the Imbachhorn. Enjoy the Glockner-Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs from a bird's eye view. The Grossglockner is located thirty kilometres south of Zell am See. With 3,798 metres in height, it is the highest mountain in Austria, and with the 9 km long Parterze below, you can see the largest glacier in the Eastern Alps. In addition, you can admire the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, opened in 1935, from above. The pass road is 48 kilometres long and leads from Bruck via Fusch to Heiligenblut in Carinthia.
Zell am See is the district capital of the Pinzgau region and has 9,900 inhabitants. The beautiful town centre invites you to stroll through shops, restaurants and bars. The Grand Hotel, which was built in Belle Epoque style, is located on a peninsula directly at the lake. It has also been home to a casino for several years.
On the northern shore of Lake Zell is Prielau Castle, which was also owned by Hugo von Hoffmannsthal. Today it is a sophisticated hotel with beautiful gardens.
The Zell am See airfield is located south of Zell am See and is the headquarters of Sennair VIP helicopters.
In the immediate vicinity is the Zell am See-Kaprun-Saalbach-Hinterglemm Golf Course, which offers golf enthusiasts a 36-hole facility on two courses in beautiful surroundings.
Kaprun is situated in 740 m above sea level and is a well-known winter sports destination due to the glacier ski resort on the Kitzsteinhorn. Here you can enjoy skiing from October to June. The Mooserboden and Wasserfallboden reservoirs are popular attractions. The Tauern Spa World in Kaprun boasts a 2,100 m2 wellness and adventure pool.
All these famous sights and landscapes can be admired on a sightseeing flight by Sennair VIP helicopter.
