Growth with vision: SennAir GmbH has invested more than 22 million euros in the latest technology and state-of-the-art helicopters since 2022

In a world that is constantly changing, it is important to focus on progress and innovation. Progress begins where stagnation ends. Since 2022, SennAir Helicopter has invested more than 22 million euros in the latest technology and state of the art helicopters. Together with our partner “Europavia (Suisse) SA”, we are proud to continue equipping our fleet with the latest Airbus Helicopters type H125 B3e with dual hydraulics. In February 2025, the contract for the purchase of our next Airbus H125 B3e dual hydraulic helicopter was signed. With this purchase, we have now acquired our eleventh Airbus Helicopters AS350/H125 series helicopter and further strengthened our fleet and capabilities. Since 2022, we have steadily invested and acquired a total of eight brand new helicopters, seven of which are Airbus H125 B3e Dual Hydraulic models.

Foresight is particularly important to us. That's why we at SennAir Helicopter rely on dual hydraulic helicopters. What is the difference to the conventional Airbus H125 B3e single-hydraulic helicopters?

Conventional Airbus H125 B3e helicopters are equipped with single hydraulics as standard. The installation of a dual hydraulic system enables improved safety and redundancy on the one hand and the possibility of a higher take-off weight (MTOW) on the other.

Improved safety and redundancy:
With the installation of the dual hydraulic system, a higher standard of safety is guaranteed. In the event of a hydraulic failure, the second system provides continuous control and thus reduces the risks.

Higher maximum take-off weight (MTOW):
The dual hydraulic system makes it possible to increase the maximum take-off weight. A maximum take-off weight of 2,370 kg is possible with a dual hydraulic system, whereas the maximum take-off weight of conventional Airbus H125 B3e aircraft with a single hydraulic system is 2,250 kg.

The dual hydraulic system is an optional feature on Airbus H125 models and is not part of the standard configuration. We at SennAir Helicopter are convinced that the dual hydraulic system increases safety in aviation and have therefore deliberately opted for the dual system in all our newly acquired helicopters. In addition, our helicopters will be equipped with a “Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS)” to further increase the safety of our passengers and crew.

With the acquisition of another brand-new Airbus H125 B3e dual hydraulic helicopter, we are able to offer our customers first-class services with the highest safety standards. We are excited about this step forward and look forward to new opportunities with our expanded fleet.
